I'm so pissed I didn't see this much earlier...

anyways.

It's so unreal that 8 years have already passed by. 8 motherfucking years... I was still a kid when Dusk of the Madness (around 10 years old) came out, and I remember being completely devastated that there wasn't a fourth one. I had the impression that the Dead Madness-series was ultimately cancelled for good. Just like with many other series that had their big breakthroughs almost a decade ago. But now, after seeing the Madness Combat-series returning, alongside with the Dead Madness-series, it has given new hopes for the future.

First off, the animation is top notch, along with the atmosphere and music. After only 5 seconds, I was immediately immersed into the fourth installment. It was great to see Katie and the Doctor again. But really devastating to see Nick as a zombie. This could easily be the best of the four episodes, but for me, the third one still captures me the most. Still, amazing work! :D

Thank you! "Better late than never" was pretty much the motto of my relationship with the completion of this animation, and I'm absolutely thrilled that people from years back are finally able to see this. I definitely don't intend to take as long with any future installments, and am planning on making some more announcements soon! Thanks again :D

This was pretty good, although I would have preferred a longer runtime, and maybe a visual punchline. Like where the blue guard was whispering to the other, that Mr. Freeman didn't have a passport, and they just start losing their shit. That would probably have been better.

Edit: Christ, what the hell was I thinking when I wrote this review... after watching the Half-Life VR-series, I've gotten a better understanding of this clip. 4.5 / 5 from me! :D

its a reanimated collab. i cant add dialogue

This flash film deserves the credit for introducing me to the world of zombies. Because of this film, I have come to love the zombie-survival concept.

But here is my flaw with this flash film: There used to be many camera movements, but in many shots now, the camera is just static. I don't know, if it's a problem with Newgrounds, but that just takes me out of the immersion, sometimes.

Edit: The video version is flawless, because of that, I can only give this top grade! :D

LittleLuckyLink responds:

Watch the video version. Flash is pretty much obsolete, and while the NG staff n' crew is working around the clock making some amazing pushes in emulating flash, there are still some kinks to work out. I'm going to edit the submission so that the video version is the default view. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

The best one in the trilogy!

Exciting, suspenseful and really depressing at the same time.

Would be nice with a new trilogy. But this time, we're following Katie. Since Nick's story is already finished.

LittleLuckyLink responds:

Thanks! Episode 4 will pick up right where this episode left off. I don't have any plans for a sequel series, but I do have a bunch of ideas for prequels. Stay tuned!
